Most crypto casinos weight live roulette at 5–20% toward wagering. A 10% weighting turns a 35× requirement into an effective 350× — usually more than the bonus is worth.
How to use the wagering calculator
Enter deposit, match percentage and bonus cap.
Set the wagering multiple and whether it applies to bonus only or deposit + bonus.
Set roulette's weighting (check the casino's terms, usually 5–20%).
Read the real turnover and the expected cost of clearing.
Worked example in Canadian dollars
Example. CA$100 deposit, 100% match, 35× bonus, roulette weighted at 10%: nominal turnover CA$3,500, real roulette turnover CA$35,000, expected cost on a European wheel CA$945. That is a −CA$845 bonus. At 100% weighting it would be a +CA$5.50 bonus.
About the wagering calculator
A deposit bonus is a loan against future turnover. The wagering requirement says how much turnover, and the game weighting says how much of your roulette play actually counts toward it. This calculator multiplies everything through and then applies the house edge to tell you what clearing the bonus is expected to cost.
The result is usually sobering for roulette players: because most operators weight roulette at 10% or less, a 100% match with 35× wagering often costs more to clear than it is worth. That is why on roulettewheel.ca we lean toward rakeback offers — Stake, Duel, Thrill and the Rainbet BOOST20 boost — for anyone who plans to spin more than they slot.
Put it into practice
Numbers are more useful with a real table in front of you. Practise on our free European wheel. When you are ready to play for real, our top pick for Canadians is Rainbet: code BOOST20 adds a permanent 20% rakeback boost that lowers the effective edge on every spin, which you can see in the rakeback calculator.
