Change any value — results update instantly.
Bust and finish-ahead figures come from 1,500 simulated sessions run in your browser each time you change a value — they will wobble slightly.
How to use the bankroll calculator
Pick the wheel and your usual bet type.
Enter your bankroll, average bet, spins per hour and session length.
Read the expected hourly and session cost.
Check the simulated bust and finish-ahead percentages.
Worked example in Canadian dollars
Example. CA$200 bankroll, CA$5 even-money bets, 40 spins an hour for 2 hours on a European wheel. Expected cost is CA$10.80 per session. In simulation, roughly 1 session in 20 busts and around 40% finish ahead. Switch to straight-up bets with the same numbers and the bust rate climbs sharply while the expected cost stays CA$10.80.
About the bankroll calculator
A bankroll plan is the only "strategy" that provably changes what roulette costs you, because the house edge is fixed and the only variables you control are bet size, speed and time at the table. Enter what you are willing to lose, how much you bet, and how fast the table runs.
The tool reports the expected loss (house edge × turnover) and then does something a formula cannot: it simulates 1,500 sessions with your parameters and counts how many end in a bust and how many end ahead. Even-money bets on a European wheel with a bankroll of 40 bets survive most short sessions; straight-up bets with the same bankroll bust far more often, even though the edge is identical.
Put it into practice
Numbers are more useful with a real table in front of you. Practise on our free European wheel. When you are ready to play for real, our top pick for Canadians is Rainbet: code BOOST20 adds a permanent 20% rakeback boost that lowers the effective edge on every spin, which you can see in the rakeback calculator.
FAQ
Is the bankroll calculator free?
Yes, and it runs entirely in your browser — nothing you type is sent to a server.
Are the results in Canadian dollars?
Every currency figure is in CA$. The maths is identical in any currency; only the label changes.
Where do the house-edge figures come from?
From the payout tables of each wheel: 2.70% single zero, 5.26% double zero, 1.35% French even-money, 7.69% mini. See our house edge guide for the derivation.
