Rakeback is paid on the house edge portion of your wagers, not on the wager itself: 20% rakeback on CA$500 of European roulette turnover is 20% × 2.7% × 500 = CA$2.70.

Set the rakeback rate, or use a preset for Rainbet, Gamdom, Thrill or Stake.

Worked example in Canadian dollars
Example. CA$3,000 a month on European roulette with the Rainbet BOOST20 boost at 20%: expected loss CA$81, rakeback CA$16.20, net expected cost CA$64.80, which is an effective edge of 2.16%. At Thrill's 70% ceiling the same play would net CA$24.30.
About the rakeback calculator
Rakeback is the most misunderstood casino reward in Canada. "20% rakeback" does not mean you get 20% of your bets back — it means you get 20% of the casino's expected profit on your bets back. For roulette that profit is the house edge, so rakeback is a direct reduction of the edge you play against.
This calculator converts a rate and a turnover into dollars over each time period and shows the effective house edge you end up facing. A 20% rakeback on European roulette turns a 2.70% game into a 2.16% game; Thrill's 70% ceiling would turn it into 0.81% — lower than French roulette with La Partage.
Put it into practice
Numbers are more useful with a real table in front of you. Practise on our free European wheel. When you are ready to play for real, our top pick for Canadians is Rainbet: code BOOST20 adds a permanent 20% rakeback boost that lowers the effective edge on every spin, which you can see in the rakeback calculator.
